Mike Duarte
Resident Life Supervisor

Mike came through the doors of Adult & Teen Challenge New England In 1995 from the Dartmouth House of Corrections. In 2003 Mike was instrumental in implementing a full Adult & Teen Challenge Program in the same institution that housed him as an inmate.  In 2005 Mike received his ministerial credentials and license diplomas through Global University.

After leaving the ministry in 2007, Mike came back to Adult & Teen Challenge New England’s Vermont center in 2015, and has become a formidable pillar as part of the Senior Staff. His function and role directly correlates with his multifaceted gifting of seeing men embrace the call of God through a consecrated lifestyle empowered by the Holy Spirit and grounded in the Word of God.

Now as the Resident Life Supervisor, he is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of the program, including: Admissions, Spiritual Care, Learning Center, Recreation, Student Transitioning, and Family Support. He provides pastoral care to residents, interns, and staff in the program through chapel services, prayer, life coaching and mentoring.
